Academic Requirements:

To be eligible for BA degrees at Sheffield as an international student (e.g., from Bangladesh):

·       You usually need A?Level qualifications, International Baccalaureate (IB), or an equivalent high school qualification that’s recognised for UK entry.

·       Students from Bangladesh with HSC and appropriate qualifications may be considered if they meet UK entry standards or complete a foundation programme first.

·       Some courses may state specific subject preferences (e.g., English for English & Humanities degrees), so check the university’s exact course page for that BA course.

If you don’t meet direct entry criteria, you can take a foundation year via the University of Sheffield International College and then progress into a BA.

English Language Proficiency:

IELTS Academic   6.5 overall with 6.0 in each component (minimum)

TOEFL iBT             TOEFL 90

PTE Academic      PTE 62
